Tonsillectomy

Curtis went to the hospital Tuesday Jan 27th @ 6:45 am to have his tonsils and adnoids out. He was pretty excited about all the icecream he was going to get to eat.
When Nikki had her tonsils out last fall they didn't put in the IV until she was asleep. Curtis wasn't so lucky. He was brave, but didn't like it one bit.

This is Curtis today, Jan 31st. Having his tonsils out wasn't all it was cracked up to be. He's tired all the time and talks funny. But he has enjoyed being pampered and having his special foods.

Another new addition...

Gigi's friend just happened to be giving away the breed and color of the dog that I've been wanting for a few years now. I knew he'd be ours as soon as I saw his picture. I'm such a push-over.

Nikki worked really hard to get this picture of him yawning. He doesn't have a name yet. Maybe you could vote. Should it be Tito, Cheech, Jimmy, or Moose (The name he came with)????

Gabriella -Small Ensemble

Gabriella was soooo nervous before she performed. She did great, of course. She says Mr. McCormick usually saves the best for last, and that she was going to be last but he didn't want her to show up the 8th graders. She was 3rd to last. You can't see it, but that's a trumpet she is playing.

Forever Friends- The Fishers

Somehow the stars aligned just right and Nichole was able to bring her 4-four kids down to visit. The kids' hadn't seen each other in months. Of course they picked up right where they left off.
BFF's.

This is her new baby Rebecca

This is Audrey. (None of the other kids were available for photographs. :)

Scotty, Ramy, and Victoria

We are so lucky to have the kids visit us every-other weekend.
Scotty has the biggest grin.

Ramy is becoming so Beautiful.

Victoria is a silly girl.

19 years and missing you still

I love you Mom. How I wish you were here. I long to wrap my arms around your neck and give you "kissy kissy" all over your face. You probably hated it when I did that, but I cherish the memory. Don't worry, though, there will be plenty of time for "kissy kissy" during eternity.

The Bradfields

Only a week after Christmas with 4 inches of new snow, we finally made the trek to St. Helens to visit Julie and her family for Christmas. The kids' loved their presents. Marc and Jared, being kids themselves, went to the store and bought their own present. It was a remote control plane and they landed it on the neighbors house. We're just glad Jared didn't fall off the ladder as he was climbing to retrieve it.
